NTRC Computer Classes
The NTRC offers a variety of free or affordable adult computer training options. These programs fall into two categories: weeklong or multi-week programs at the Charles Hayes Family Investment Center in Bronzeville, and topical Friday training classes at our other locations. For an Enrollment Price List or to see if you qualify for free courses click here or on the Enrollment Price List in the left-hand side.
The training offered at the Charles Hayes Family Investment Center FIC is along three tracks. Community Classes, which generally last one or two weeks; Basic Certification courses, which last a few weeks, and Advanced Certification courses, which generally last about a month. Click on one of those options above or in the left-hand side for more information about each track.
Also, check out our Digital Connectors program that will take place this summer for students at the FIC and Homan Square.
Our Homan Square and Northwest Tower locations hold trainings on Fridays. Check the pages for those locations above or in the sidebar for more information about course schedules and registration.
Finally, through the Wireless Community Networks project we offer a number of free networking classes aimed at teaching deployment and maintenance of the Wireless Lawndale network.
