DCEO Eliminate The Digital Divide Grant

To Qualify:

1. All applicants must complete the following process:

a. Fill out NTRC general demographics information sheet b. Write a personal statement discussing your interest in the program (2-3 paragraphs) c. Demonstrate that you are at least 18 years of age (photo ID) d. Sign employment tracking contract regarding job placements e. Sign agreement to take tests associate with certification courses with 60days of course completion f. Complete necessary pre-tests and assessments as per FIC program intake structure

2. All applicants mush show at least 1 document that demonstrates proof of income.

An individual qualifies for the program if they present one of the following documents for NTRC to review and certify.

a. Proof of TANF enrollment b. Proof that individual is currently receiving state unemployment compensation c. Lease indicating that individual is residing in housing subsidized under Section 8 d. Proof that individual is receiving state disability payments e. Proof of low-income status as income as specified by NTRC by prior year tax return or pay stub (this is if space is available in the program)

3. All applicants must pay a $25 application fee following their acceptance into the DCEO Grant program (Application fee must be received prior to the first class).
